to this world

that spreads me over clouds

and shelters me gently

Courtyard CocoonIt was in the courtyard  
In between that concrete  
and stucco  
that i found myself   
 
 
I was crushed  
behind a pale  
broken down  
bush   
 
 
Looking for shelter  
with my eyes closed.  
It was here that  
not only was i found  
but a revelation  
peeked   
 
 
and with it  
this wretched  
understanding  
of my mortality   
 
 
In this body  
i suffocated  
from the confinement  
of  
my  
skin   
 
 
I couldn’t breath

water like liquid silver  
and saw that i do not belong here   
 
 
I am a creature of  
another space  
and time  
I have been misplaced  
lost without a map  
struggling to find my way

living in a world defined by them  
I ask for guidance  
Take my hand

I beg on my knees  
that someone  
would lift me up  
and put me on my path  
because the path i am on now  
has been dead ended
